Exhibition at the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa

The Halyard Mission Foundation was honored to host an exhibition at the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum in Mesa, Arizona on 27 January 2022. In partnership with the Museum, the Foundation held presentations on the Halyard rescue mission. The exhibit will become a part of the permanent collection at the Air Museum.

It was a beautiful day to fly the C-47 which helped rescue airmen during the Halyard Mission. Paul Moore and Ted Byfield, both sons of rescued airmen attended the event and had a chance to fly on the type of aircraft which helped rescue their fathers.

An amazing experience and a unique opportunity to fly a piece of history.
